Before you get too comfortable in the clubhouse, here are the terms that apply when you browse our website or purchase something from us.

We've kept things as straightforward as possible. No unnecessary legal gymnastics, just clear information about how we operate and what you can expect.

1. About Us

Rebels & Rivals | Sport & Social is an independent UK online retail business operated by Amanda Karen Sheridan, trading as Rebels & Rivals.

Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Rebels & Rivals. “You” and “your” refer to our customers and website visitors.

2. Using Our Website

By using our website, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.

You must not attempt to interfere with the website's operation, compromise its security, misuse its content or engage in fraudulent activity.

We may update, improve or temporarily suspend parts of the website when necessary.

3. Our Products

We sell sporting gifts, clothing, accessories and lifestyle products.

Our products are made to order by specialist print-on-demand fulfilment partners, including Inkthreadable and Gelato.

This means production normally begins after an order has been placed, rather than products being dispatched from our own stock.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices are accurate.

However, minor variations in colour, print placement or appearance may occur because of manufacturing processes and differences between screen displays.

These variations do not affect your statutory rights if goods fail to match their description, are faulty or are not of satisfactory quality.

Product availability may change. If we're unable to fulfil your order, we'll contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

You'll receive an automatic order confirmation acknowledging that we've received your order.

Our acceptance of your order, and the formation of a contract between us, occurs when we send you a dispatch confirmation, unless we've expressly accepted your order earlier.

We reserve the right to decline an order before acceptance where there is a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, unavailable products or an obvious pricing error.

If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, we'll issue a refund.

Please check your order details carefully before completing checkout, including product selections, sizes, quantities and delivery information.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).

Rebels & Rivals is not currently registered for VAT. We therefore do not charge VAT separately or issue VAT invoices.

The total price payable, including applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your order.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed securely through our payment service providers. We do not directly store your full payment card details.

We may change product prices from time to time, but price changes won't affect orders we've already accepted.

6. Production and Delivery

Because our products are printed or manufactured to order, production times vary depending on the item and fulfilment partner.

Estimated delivery information and applicable shipping charges will be provided during checkout, where available.

Some orders may arrive in separate parcels if products are fulfilled by different suppliers or production locations.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed as such.

Unless otherwise agreed, we'll deliver your order within 30 days of the contract being formed.

If delivery is delayed, please contact us. Your rights regarding late or failed delivery are protected by applicable consumer legislation.

Responsibility for goods generally passes to you when you, or someone you nominate to receive them, takes physical possession of them.

7. Cancellations and Returns

For most products purchased online, UK consumers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.

You then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Certain products made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you may be exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right.

Simply manufacturing or printing a standard product after an order is placed does not automatically make it exempt.

Where an exception applies, we'll explain this before purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We want every order to arrive exactly as it should.

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us at hello@rebelsandrivals.co.uk.

Include your order number and details of the issue. Photographs can help us investigate, but they are not a condition of exercising your statutory rights.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Your statutory rights apply regardless of the policies of our print-on-demand suppliers.

9. Product Care and Use

Please follow any care instructions supplied with your products.

Clothing and accessories should be used and maintained in accordance with their intended purpose.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by misuse, accidents or failure to follow reasonable care instructions, except where the law provides otherwise.

10. Intellectual Property

The Rebels & Rivals name, original branding, website content, graphics, product designs, photographs and other original materials are owned by us or used with appropriate permission, except where otherwise stated.

You may browse our website and use its content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our original content without prior written permission or another lawful basis.

Nothing in these terms restricts rights you may have under applicable intellectual property law.

11. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts, special offers or exclusive benefits to members of our mailing list.

Any specific conditions, expiry dates or exclusions will be explained alongside the relevant promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be combined and have no cash value.

We may withdraw or amend promotions where reasonably necessary, without affecting orders already accepted.

12. Website Availability and External Links

We aim to keep our website accessible and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Our website may occasionally contain links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the content or operation of websites outside our control.

13. Our Responsibility to You

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.

We are not responsible for losses arising from events outside our reasonable control where the law permits, but this does not remove our obligations concerning delivery, refunds or other consumer protections.

14. Privacy and Personal Information

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

We collect and use information necessary to process orders, provide customer support, operate our website and communicate with you where permitted.

15. Complaints and Customer Support

If something goes wrong, please give us the opportunity to put it right.

The version applicable to your purchase will generally be the version in effect when your order was placed, unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available to you under the laws of your place of residence.

You may bring legal proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
